Dr. Gail Weingast has a lot of education to work from, but she also has tons of experience. Besides numerous internships and residencies at a couple of prominent Colorado hospitals, she worked at several other hospitals in Colorado and in New York, until she settled into her current position. When she took a position as a radiology specialist at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut, she really found a home. She is now very highly regarded as the Chief of Ultrasound and Breast Imaging, ands she has been at Backus for more than 20 years.
In that time, Dr. Gail Weingast has been able to guide her department into its current position as a premiere medical facility with her more than four decades of knowledge and experience. It’s no secret why; she has a ton of experience and education and she knows what she is doing. She has certainly come a long way in the more than four decades since she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
